This blog post is devoted to you. Whether you are my parent, grandparent, sibling, family member, friend, family friend, a Modern Edge customer, acquaintance, or a complete stranger. I thank you. I thank you for taking the time to read my blog.

I started this adventure while I was pregnant with Creighton. My main goal was just to let family and friends keep up with my pregnancy, and other random things going on in my life. I had no idea it would have led to this. This being people coming in the boutique saying “I love your blog, I’ve read every post.” or “I had the exact same experience as a mom, you’ll get through it.” or “I enjoy keeping up with you and your little family.” Sometimes it’s people that I don’t even know. I’ve had a couple people stop me in the grocery store and tell me how much they love reading my posts (gotta love a small town).

I don’t know how you got sent to this post. Maybe you clicked the link through my Instagram or Facebook. Or maybe 1 out of the 12 family members who always share my posts (thanks fam, love you!) shared it and you clicked on it. Or maybe you found me through google.

I don’t know why you are reading this. Maybe you enjoy keeping up with my little family. Or maybe you are pregnant or a new mom and are looking for advice or someone to relate to. Or maybe I said “Go read my blog” (I only do that to my husband).

Whatever the case may be, I don’t care how you got here or why you are here, I’m just glad you’re here! This adventure began for my own purpose, but now I do it for you. (That’s a whole lot of pressure….just kidding.)

So thank you to all of my readers!

Love you all!

Our once baby boy is now SIX MONTHS, HALF A YEAR! I cannot believe how fast time has gone by! I remember like it was yesterday when our sweet babe was just a wee little baby! Now he is outgrowing his carseat, moving all over the place, and more than filling up 12 month clothing!

This is how a usual weekday goes for us…

+Creighton usually wakes up around 7 (thanks to Daddy getting ready in the morning and making SO much racket)
+CW gets his first bottle (he usually drinks 7 oz every feeding)
+He watches Mickey Mouse Clubhouse & Doc McStuffins while I get ready
+In between getting ready I will feed him some homemade baby food
+We get to work and open doors at 10am
+If I’m lucky Creighton will be asleep in his carseat from the (1 mile) drive and he will nap for about an hour
+Once he wakes I feed him another bottle
+From 10am-6pm at work it usually goes like this: play, feed, nap, play, feed, nap….
+Depending on the day and what projects he has going on, Adam may be home cooking, sometimes we get take-out, and sometimes me and CW are on our own for dinner
+At home CW goes from is PortaPlay, to his jumpy swing, to tummytime
+We give him a bath every other night
+He gets his last bottle of the day between 8:30-9:30 and then we put him in his crib for the night. If he fights sleep, Adam plays the guitar for him and he’s out! (Literally the sweetest moment between my guys)
+We all go to sleep around the same time
+Then we get up and do it all over again! Fun life I know! (Wouldn’t trade it for anything)

+He has been teething for months, but still no sign of teeth
+Still obsessed with his “pup pup” Fenway
+Sleeps in his big boy crib in his own room for 8-10 hours at night
+Hasn’t sucked on a paci in 3 months
+OBSESSED with Mickey Mouse
+Hasn’t been with anyone overnight except mama and daddy

As long as I’m living, my baby you’ll be.

***Don’t forget to enter my GIVEAWAY for JORD Wood Watches! You can enter HERE.

Those of you who keep up with my blogs probably noticed that I didn’t do a “Friday Favorites” last week. I don’t even have a reason for why I didn’t. But that just means I have more things to share today!

+ First let’s talk about Super Bowl Sunday. We had lunch at my moms and we watched the game at my sister’s house. There’s nothing better than a day spent with family! Speaking of family, my sis turned TWENTY NINE on Tuesday! Happy Birthday week Bon!

+ I’m still obsessing over my iPhone 7 plus. It literally takes the best pictures! Me and Creighton sat on the porch Monday afternoon (beautiful weather) and I took about 634 pictures of my little man. The portrait depth effect feature is my favorite. It blurs out the background of your picture focusing on the person, or the really really cute baby (or hiding the junk in the background).

+ We have a big boy on our hands. And yes he is big as far as weight goes, but I’m talking about our big boy is growing up! Creighton used to sleep in a pack-&-play in our room, but for over a week now we have been putting him in his crib in his own room at night! (Insert crying emoji here.) I have finally stopped staring at the monitor every hour. And he is sleeping about 9-10 hours at night! Happy (and sad) mama right here!

+JORD Wood Watches. I was given the opportunity to work with this awesome company and received the coolest watch for Adam! Read all about it in my last blog post, or visit their website here. And don’t forget to enter the GIVEAWAY here!

+Ninja Blender. Literally one of the best kitchen gadgets we own! (Shout out to my stepmom!) Ours came with the base, 3 different size cups with lids, blade lid for cups, pitcher, and food processor bowl. You can shop ours here. Adam and I both make smoothies almost every morning and this blender is so easy to use, especially when you’re in a hurry! My smoothie literally takes less than 15 seconds! If you don’t know what to put in your smoothie, this morning I made a fruit smoothie with strawberries, pineapple, a banana, and coconut water. But my absolute fave is almond milk, peanut butter, banana, spinach or kale, and a few strawberries. It definitely cures my dessert cravings! I don’t have one bad thing to say about this gadget! I highly recommend buying it! (It’s not just for smoothie making, and you don’t have to buy the Mac Daddy.)

Let me start by saying WOW what a busy week! A good week, but definitely a busy one! I had a cold over the weekend (yuck) but thankfully it was gone by Tuesday! Now onto some of my fave moments and items!

+First let’s talk about my mom! She drove 30 min to my house Monday just to bring me stuff to help me feel better! No matter how old you get, you always need your mom! (I hope Creighton will say this) Thanks again mom!

+Matti & Colt. My 7 year old niece Matti has been taking swim lessons since she was 6 months old. I used to watch her swim all the time when I was working at the pool, but I haven’t seen her since the Summer! I went to her swim practice Tuesday and I could cry at how well she did! I am so proud of that little fish! Later that evening I got to watch Colt play basketball and Matti cheer! An afternoon with my once little babies was so good for my soul!

My sister got me the 40 days of prayer and gratitude pages and it has been my go-to this week. So many things to be thankful for all the time, but especially this week. It made me even more thankful and blessed to see them all written down. These make great gifts (my sister gives them as teacher gifts)! Definitely check them out! May Designs

I hope you all have the BEST weekend!

Now that Christmas is over, I’m ready for sunshine and summertime! Bring on tan skin, sandy air and salty hair, and a sandy baby bottom! Thinking of summer takes me back to Punta Cana with my HUSBAND!

The afternoon of May 16th, 2015 Adam and I were on a plane (probably crying) returning from the best vacation we had ever been on. Our honeymoon in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. While looking for honeymoon destinations, I stumbled upon the Majestic Elegance Punta Cana (+all inclusive). I was instantly sold! Our vacation was 5 days and 4 nights (not long enough at all!) The resort was seriously beautiful!

Between snorkeling, a party boat, a foam party (we didn’t participate, only watched), food anytime of the day, and the most beautiful scenery with my beautiful husband, it was by far the best vacation ever! And I can’t wait to go back! (hint, hint Adam)

I will let the pictures do most of the talking. (I apologize for the poor quality of some of the photos. This was way before I got my amazing iPhone!)

That one time Santiago made us take pics with an iguana on steroids.

If you are looking for honeymoon, anniversary, or vacation destinations I highly recommend Punta Cana!
